Requests for transcripts must be made in writing and require the signature of the student. E-mail and phone requests are not accepted. Transcripts are processed as soon as possible after a request is received; usually within 48 hours. Transcripts will not be provided for students with overdue accounts with the College. The College DOES NOT provide faxed transcripts due to security, data transmission, and privacy considerations.

Types of Service Available:

  • Regular - Printed transcripts sent via USPS first-class mail or for pick-up 
  • Expedited - Electronic delivery

Three Ways to Request a Transcript:

If you are unable to download the request form, include the following information in your written request:

  • Your name and current mailing address
  • The name under which you attended the College, i.e., a maiden name
  • Date of birth
  • Years you attended or the year you graduated
  • Telephone number where you can be contacted if there is a question about your request
  • Name and specific address where the transcript is to be sent
  • Your signature (requests cannot be processed without the student’s signature)
  • Type of transcript service requested (regular or expedited)
  • Credit card number, expiration date, and billing address (only for expedited service)

Under provisions of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, as amended, Maryville College honors transcript requests only from the student. Transcript requests from parents, government agencies, corporations or other third parties will be honored only when accompanied by a signed release from the student authorizing the release of the transcript of his or her academic record to a specific person, corporation, or agency.
