Enrollment Confirmation

All students are REQUIRED to confirm their enrollment at the beginning of the semester by completing associated tasks online and in the Alumni Gym on designated dates. Students that complete all requirements in advance will find this to be a quick and easy process in the Alumni Gym.  Any requirements not met by Monday, August 18th will require standing in line for verification of completion in the Alumni Gym.  Complete your requirements before this date and save yourself some time in a line!

What Happens At Enrollment Confirmation in the Alumni Gym:
  • You will be provided with a task list of any items that must be addressed before your enrollment is confirmed.
  • Returning students will pay any outstanding parking or judicial fines in the Alumni Gym.
  • Students who have paid all tuition and fees will finish in the Alumni Gym.
  • Students who still have outstanding balances or need to finish financial aid arrangements will finish in the Business Office.
  • Because your schedule is subject to change as you make adjustments, you will not receive a printed copy, but you may view it at any time via Self-Service.
  • Your task list must be stamped as “COMPLETE” in order to confirm your enrollment. You are not finished until that final step occurs!

International Students

International students will confirm their enrollment on Friday, August 22nd from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. in the Alumni Gym.

  • Pay account balances (check your account balance via Self-Service

  • Sign online financial aid forms

  • Complete your Vehicle Waiver/Registration Form (This form requires you to log in with your "my.maryvillecollege.edu" email address.)

  • Verify and update your personal information via Self-Service (Instructions for updating this information are available HERE).
    • You must have the following information listed in Self-Service.  Please check the information listed for accuracy, and complete any missing information.
      • Your cell phone number
      • An IRIS alert number (this should be your cell phone number)
      • At least ONE Emergency Contact #
      • An accurate mailing address

New First Year Students

New first year students will confirm their enrollment on Friday, August 22nd from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. in the Alumni Gym (exceptions to this may apply to expedition groups - your orientation instructor will explain this to you)

Last Names:  A - H
8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
Last Names:   I - P
9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Last Names:   Q - Z
10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Returning students will confirm their enrollment (formerly known as Finalizing Registration) on Monday, August 25th at specific times (listed below) in the Alumni Gym.

8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
All 2nd year students
10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
All 3rd year students
1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
All 4th year students and above
Student teachers should complete their online tasks in advance, and work with Bonnie West in the Division of Education to confirm their enrollment.

Student Teachers

Due to scheduling conflicts, student teachers are not required to come to the Alumni Gym to confirm enrollment if all required items are completed in advance.  You will be contacted separately by email regarding the status of your enrollment confirmation process.
