High school students, adult learners and community college students are all invited to “Meet Maryville” on Sat., Oct. 5; Sat. Nov. 16; Sat., Feb. 1; and Sat., April 5.
Hosted by Maryville College’s Admissions staff, the “Meet Maryville” preview day event is designed to help people become more familiar with the nationally recognized liberal arts college.
“‘Meet Maryville’ is designed to introduce prospective students and their parents to all that Maryville College has to offer, including academics, campus life and extracurricular activities,” said Cyndi Sweet, director of admissions at Maryville College. “Throughout the course of the day, students and parents have the opportunity to meet faculty, staff and current students, which really allows them to experience how becoming a part of the MC community can shape their future.
“We also encourage students to schedule an individual visit at a later date, which can be even more personalized."
During “Meet Maryville,” visitors will hear directly from MC students, faculty and staff members about the College’s core curriculum and why MC graduates are successful because of it. Visitors will then enjoy our all-you-can-eat buffet in the Margaret Ware Dining Hall of Pearsons Hall. Finally, Maryville College Ambassadors will lead “Meet Maryville” guests on a tour of the campus.
If you are unable to attend a “Meet Maryville” preview day event, Saturday tours will be offered at 10 a.m. on Sept. 14 and 28; Oct. 19 and 26; Nov. 2 and 9; Dec. 7; Jan. 18; Feb. 15; March 1 and 29; April 26; and May 3 and 17.
