Lots of summer camps will be held on the MC campus this summer, including the Advanced Placement Summer Institute (July 10-15). If you’re an AP instructor or know one, please take a look at the information available online.


News for Parents & Families

Exams started Monday, May 9 and continue until May 12. The residence halls close at 9 p.m., May 12 for underclassmen. For seniors, they close at 11 a.m., May 16.

"Shifting Mythology: The Transformation of Gender in Modern Arthurian Retellings"

For her Senior Study, English literature major Caroline Redmond '11 analyzed the transformation of female gender roles in modern King Arthur novels. Read more.

Maryville FundHELP MC FINISH THE RACE

Just like the marathon relay that President Bogart ran with four students on April 3, meeting the College’s annual fund goals is a test of focus, belief and endurance. Help the College cross the finish line triumphantly, and send in your donation before May 31!

Great Scots! Volunteers

From June 1, 2010, until March 31, 2011, Great Scots! volunteers have contributed 2677.9 hours to MC. This translates to nearly 335 eight-hour days!

“Walk Humbly” is the title of the address that nearly 250 graduates and guests will hear on Sun., May 15. Duncan will also receive an honorary degree from the College. For more information, and to see how you can watch it online, visit the MC website.

As a member of a task force of the Church’s Advisory Committee on Social Witness Policy, Dr. Brunger, professor of economics, has joined other economists, clergy, church administrators and social workers in researching the impact of the recession on congregations. Read the story.

Men's Golf TeamMEN'S GOLF TEAM IS CONFERENCE CHAMPION
