Chilhowee Club

Chilhowee Club renovations scheduled for this summer include a new sidewalk and ramp at the front entry, a new face to the front entry, an emergency exit door, bathroom and kitchen renovations, minor electrical and lighting upgrades and a fire-retardant varnish on all wooden surfaces.

Graduates of MC's Class of 2008

The weekend was busy for the approximately 240 graduates and their family members who celebrated the successful completions of undergraduate careers. Pages in the graduation wrap-up include scripts, images, press releases and a link to purchase individual and group photos.

DR. JEFFREY FAGER NAMED DEAN

Dr. Jeffery FagerFager, dean of arts and sciences and chief academic officer at Averett University in Danville, Va., will begin his service at Maryville College on July 1. Learn more about him by reading the press release posted online.

Summer Lilly Intern Program

10 current Maryville College students were selected to receive stipends, money for room and board and an opportunity to briefly explore a vocation of their choosing. To find out who’s spending the summer where, visit the MC web site.

ALUMNI HOST EVENTS IN OHIO THIS WEEK

Workers are in the process of driving 500 piles for the Civic Arts Center 40-50 feet in the earth. You can watch their process through a web cam on the MC web site.

DONORS, STUDENTS ENJOY ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP LUNCHEONS

Each spring scholarship donors and their student receipients are brought together for the Endowed and Annual Scholarship Luncheons.  On April 16 and 17, over 180 donors from as far away as Arkansas came to campus to meet the students who reap the rewards of their generosity. CSC SPONSORS WORKSHOPS ON POVERTY
