Rev. Thomas Brown ’84 has spent nearly 20 years working with young adults enrolled in and recently graduated from College. To help guide young adults through that year after graduation, he’s written Unscripted: Engaging Life after College. Catch up with Tommy!

Maryville College students have taken “Middle English Literature” since Dr. Edwin Hunter added the course to the curriculum in 1928. In this video, former registrar Martha Hess 67 shares stories about the College’s medieval scholars of the past, including Hunter and Dr. Elizabeth Jackson, and she interviews the College’s current medieval scholar, Dr. Sam Overstreet, to explain how Chaucer was taught then and is taught now.
