The next "Meet Maryville" for prospective students and their families is set for November 13.

MC's music and vocal ensembles will join together Dec. 6 for the first performance of Handel's "Messiah" in the new Clayton Center for the Arts. Mark your calendar now and make plans to attend this special event.


Undergraduate Research

"Posters from Past and Present" Art major Stephani Richardson '10 examined the history of the poster in art and graphic design from the mid-1800s through today and designed posters for real events on campus, utilizing styles from various art periods. Read more.

Penrose FarmMARYVILLE COLLEGE PARTNERS WITH PENROSE FARM FOR EQUESTRIAN TEAM

Through a generous gift of a lease from Board Member Teenie Hayworth, a 120-acre horse farm in West Knoxville is now home to the College's Equestrian Team, but other College programs may soon begin to utilize facilities. Read the release online.

A play from Northern Ireland that celebrates the connection of the Scots-Irish with the people of Appalachia will be performed for free Oct. 8-9. Go online to read about the play.

The Bald Soprano
MC THEATRE DEPARTMENT PRESENTS "THE BALD SOPRANO"

An absurdist tale by Eugene Ionesco, "The Bald Soprano" opens Oct. 21 in the Haslam Family Flex Theatre of the Clayton Center and plays through Oct. 24. Buy tickets now at the Clayton Center box office.
