“The Role of Body Mass Index (BMI) on Total Knee Replacement Rehabilitation”
For her Senior Study, Shelley Clark ’11 studied different factors that influenced rehabilitation time in several patients who had knee replacements. This story will be posted on the MC homepage in the coming days. Please check back.

Campus Information

CAMPUS CLOSURE INFORMATION ANNOUNCED FOR HOLIDAYS

All residence halls will close at 9 p.m., December 15 for the Christmas Break and will reopen at 1 p.m., Jan. 8. Campus offices will close Dec. 23 in observance of the holidays and reopen Jan. 3.

Nancy Wallace

Bob Hines ’76 and Pat Jones Hines ’76 hosted Nancy Kennedy Wallace ’72 for an author visit to Montverde Academy in Lake County, Fla., to promote her picture book, The Christmas Cats. Wallace also has a book signing scheduled for MCís 2012 Homecoming. The book is available at amazon.com.

Boyd, CEO of Knoxville-based Radio Systems Corporation, visited campus Nov. 15 and talked to students, faculty and administrators about his start in sales and his companyís mission and goals. Read the story online.

STUDENTS ENJOY 18TH ANNUAL FINALS BREAKFAST

Hot pancakes, golden biscuits and crispy bacon were stress reducers for more than 300 students who took a break from studying Monday night and ventured to the Margaret Ware Dining Room for breakfast. Check out the photos posted online and take a look at the fun YouTube video.

Sheri Matascik Spirit WoodDR. SHERI MATASCIK RELEASES SECOND CD

Matascik, associate professor of music, recently released “Spirit Wood,” an album of 11 original songs on acoustic guitar. Visit the MC website to read more about the project and to hear clips from three compositions.
