Travel & Service Programs

Giving students an outlet to explore the world outside of our immediate Maryville College community has been an important component of the College’s vision for learning. Focusing on travel and service, the Alternative Break programs provide unique opportunities to visit exciting places while improving the environment and the lives of others. The experiences offered by this alternative approach of service-learning build lasting memories and strengthen students’ skills as responsible community leaders.

Described in the following sections is a brief introduction to our three Alternative Break programs:
