Beeson Village provides apartment style living with the convenience of being on-campus. The community has 3 buildings: Memorial, Beeson and Chilhowee Halls. Each building consists of 4- or 6-person apartments with a large courtyard shared by each building. Apartments are carpeted and include a love seat, chair, coffee table and dining table with chairs. This 82-person complex is reserved for junior and seniors who meet certain eligibility requirements.
Carnegie Hall consists mostly of suite-style rooms. Carnegie continues to be a popular housing option for upperclass students. All suites include a bathroom and carpeted rooms. Some suites have single rooms and kitchen. Carnegie is one of three buildings that has an elevator.
Copeland Hall is a co-ed facility with a mixture of first-year and upper-class students. This hall has community bathrooms and both double- and single-occupancy rooms with lounges on each floor. The first floor has a large social/study area with a table tennis, foosball, and a television. Limited visitation hours are provided in this building for the first-year wings.
Students can experience living in Court Street Apartments for a truly unique, off-campus, apartment-style feel. The apartment building is located just across from the Court Street entrance to Maryville College. Apartments are double-occupancy with carpet, a love seat, chair, coffee table, dining table with chairs, and include a full kitchen and bathroom. Laundry and vending machines are also available within the apartment building grounds.
Davis Hall has a strong community in which the female-only residents can enjoy during their first year of college. This hall has community bathrooms and both double- and single-occupancy rooms with lounges on each floor. There are two community rooms inside the front entrance where residents can lounge, study, watch television, or play pool. Male visitations hours are limited within Davis Hall.
Gamble Hall is the brother hall to the all-female Davis Hall. This hall has community bathrooms and both double- and single-occupancy rooms with lounges on each floor. There are two community rooms inside the front entrance where residents can lounge, study, watch television, or play pool. Female visitations hours are limited within Gamble Hall.
One of Maryville College's mirror opposite residence halls (along with Lloyd Hall). Gibson Hall, (named after current MC President, Gerald Gibson and his wife, Rachel) opened its doors in the Fall of 2008. The four-story hall features 39 suites (some with kitchens) that provide homes to nearly 150 MC students. Each four-person suite includes carpeted rooms, a love seat, chair, coffee table, dining table with chairs, double- or single-occupancy rooms, and two bathrooms per suite. Each floor has a lounge with a television and kitchen and a study room where students can gather. Living in Gibson Hall includes a Wellness component that requires all residents living in the building to abstain from tobacco and alcohol use while living in the hall.
Lloyd Hall is the mirror to Gibson Hall. Lloyd Hall opened its doors to MC students in the Fall of 2003. The four-story hall features 39 suites (some with kitchens) that provide homes to nearly 150 MC students. Each four-person suite includes carpeted rooms, a love seat, chair, coffee table, dining table with chairs, double- or single-occupancy rooms and two bathrooms per suite. Each floor has a lounge with a television and kitchen and a study room where students can gather.
Located in the center of campus, residents of Pearsons Hall have an easy walk to anywhere on campus, especially the cafeteria which is just downstairs. This hall is for upper-class students and includes double-occupancy rooms, carpet, and community bathrooms. Pearsons is the smallest residence hall on campus which contributes to its close-knit community. *NOTE: Pearsons Hall will be off-line and unoccupied during the 2009-2010 academic year.
