Maryville College offers a comprehensive benefits package for medical, dental, vision, life insurances, mental health, long-term and short-term disability insurances, and retirement. Eligible employees receiving 1.5x their salary in life insurance at no cost to them. Take a look inside the Benefits Guide for all the details.

As an employee of the College, you may be eligible to participate in the Tuition Remission or Tuition Exchange programs after only 90 days of employment. This means, you and/or your dependent(s) could earn a higher education degree for FREE! You may decide to obtain credit hours and a degree right here at Maryville College. You may also elect to utilize the Tuition Exchange program and earn your degree from another private institution. Follow this link to see the full list of participating institutions.

Maryville College offers Summer Hours to staff employees. What are Summer Hours? From May through July, the College closes at 12 p.m. each Friday, allowing for a more enriched work life balance for 12-month staff employees.

Maryville College offers a competitive PTO package for regular, full-time, staff employees on an annual basis:

  • 17 Paid Holidays
  • 15-25 Vacation Days
  • 12 Sick Days
  • 2 Personal Days

There is no roll-off for vacation time. Full-time staff members can accrue up to 288 vacation hours maximum.

We offer flexible/hybrid work schedules.

Maryville College is committed to supporting employees in the demands of balancing work, family, and personal obligations by offering the possibility of flexible and hybrid work arrangements, where and when possible. These arrangements are intended to provide employees with increased flexibility with their work schedule while allowing the College to maintain a progressive and productive work environment. Adjustments may include a flexible work schedule, in which the employee works their full number of weekly hours in a schedule that differentiates from the standard M – F, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.. Employees may also opt to work a portion of their work schedule from another location than campus. This refers to a hybrid work schedule. All schedule adjustments should be reviewed and approved by employee supervisors.
